Upholding Our Principles Against Arbitrary Fact-Checkers
If you’re still using big tech social media platforms and see our articles on them recently, you might have noticed a ‘false news’ label—not just about any specific article, but about our entire publication.
Because we’ve posted content labeled ‘false’ by those platforms’ chosen ‘fact-checkers’ before, our entire publication is now penalized whenever we post.
It’s another sign of the tightening censorship we’re facing online as Americans in the wake of the 2020 presidential election.
We’re at a point where the validity of information isn’t judged based on the information itself, but based on who said it.
But when there’s a will, there’s a way, and even if they continue to demerit our content, we will still continue to uphold our principles of reporting the news.
